WHO ARE WE
LIMINAL offers training programs for new professions.
The courses integrate knowledge, skills, and abilities drawn from helping relationships, artistic expressive forms, and anthropology.
It operates from its headquarters in Florence, offering a three-year master’s program in evolutionary theater.
Master in Evolutionary Theater
The Master in Evolutionary Theater is a professional training program that provides acquisition of skills in personal evolution processes, techniques and expressive principles of contemporary theater training, and methods of empathetic listening and understanding.
The course’s objective is not only to support individual integration, evolution, and growth, but also to train professionals capable of designing, promoting, and leading Evolutionary Theater groups in public and private settings through the LIMINAL® METHOD.
Upon completion of the training, participants will receive the Diploma of Evolutionary Theater Trainer, which allows registration with the professional association AILPU (Italian Association of Humanistic Freelance Professions).
The course is offered under the framework of professions regulated by Law 4/2013.
The Master begins in January 2026 and is held one weekend per month.
INTROSPECTIVE THEATRE
Immerse yourself in an introspective theater workshop with enthusiastic, eager-to-learn participants!
The workshop centers on personal work within a group setting. Exercises aim to foster personal expression, explore theater and body awareness, and deepen self-knowledge and understanding of others.
Three Focus Areas:
Body & Movement
This track focuses on bodily expression and movement, aiming to establish a deep connection with one’s own body. Two core elements:
- Full expressivity of body and voice
- Authentic connection with one’s physicality
It’s not just about moving the body — it’s about moving from the body, exploring what moves us internally and where movement originates.
Acting Training
Based on diverse theatrical and counseling techniques, this track helps participants embody a character, learn to be on stage, and develop stage presence through an experimental approach to character study.
Personal Growth
Here, theater becomes a tool for personal evolution and growth. Using theatrical elements and supportive techniques, participants can address and transform personal aspects within a group context.
Beyond the Workshop
Integrating counseling techniques into the teaching of performing arts gives rise to an innovative, experimental approach.
Acting — especially physical theater — combined with counseling, has the potential to lay the foundation for a therapeutic journey, with results that also manifest in everyday life.
Frequency: One day per week, 2 hours.

It is a place where freedom finds balance in containment, offering every child or young person the opportunity to bring forth their unique resources and characteristics.Personal Expression within the GroupWithin a group context, one’s uniqueness intertwines with the authenticity and truth of others, fostering personal expression and connection with others.Expressive Theater for Children and YouthGroups divided by age ranges:
- Group for children aged 4 to 7 years;
- Group for youth aged 8 to 12 years.
